GRACE Marketplace dorm renovations

CSEI provided Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, and Fire Protection design for Grace Marketplace to convert an existing unoccupied building on their campus to a new shelter building that complies with HUD and ADA requirements. As Board Chair for Grace Marketplace, Kevin Spellicy led this project with the assistance of Mick Richmond at Brame Heck Architects who committed to providing their services along with CSEI pro bono. Because of the expedited schedule and firmly limited grant funding for this project, CSEI worked closely with Grace leadership and Sterling Builders to prioritize the final scope items and work through value engineering to get absolutely all value to the Owner achievable without exceeding the available budget.
