Cristina grew up in Costa Rica and moved to North Florida in 2012. She graduated in 2021 with her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida. In 2022 she moved to Madrid, Spain to complete her Master of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from Istituto Europeo di Design. She returned back to Gainesville at the end 2023 and headed the Marketing Department at the Hippodrome Theatre until April 2024.
She joined the CSEI team in May 2025 and brings a unique blend of expertise with her background in design, non-profit work and communications. Outside of the office, Cristina enjoys DJing, cycling, cooking and spending quality time with family and friends.
