The Problem:
Replace existing fluorescent fixtures with LED simplify lighting and AV controls in lecture halls to create a more user-friendly interface.
Working with Academic Technology, CSEI delivered design and infrastructural coordination to permit leading-edge Crestron integration of all lighting, audio, projectors, and screens from a single touchscreen monitor with an interface similar to a smartphone, while significantly decreasing energy use.
Our Solution:
Under our Minor Projects contract, we efficiently coordinated design for 13 lecture halls with Academic Technology’s scope of work for upgrades to be completed during unoccupied summer months. As is often the case with Higher Education work, the design expediency was critical in allowing the project to be successful. Leveraging past experience and relationships was, and always is, critical to our success.
