UF Communicore Project Win

We are thrilled to announce that Campbell Spellicy, in partnership with BFRANK Studio Architects, has been selected as the design team for the University of Florida's Clinical Artificial Intelligence CO:LAB and Experiential Design Studio major renovation at UF's Communicore Building.

This renovation, totaling approximately 20,000 square feet, will create new computer lab and training spaces for students in experiential medical AI design and implementation, and a transdisciplinary co-laboratory for researchers in applied clinical AI. The space will facilitate research partnerships and further establishes UF as a national and international leader in artificial intelligence, informatics, immersive technologies, and data science in medicine. The Clinical Research Hub will support centralized clinical research operations, training, and provide support for the development of research infrastructure resources and investigator-friendly project life cycle guidance.

We are honored, as always, to be trusted by the University of Florida for a project of this complexity and importance and are excited to take on this challenging renovation. Transforming buildings and spaces is a passion for our team and the creation of a cutting-edge AI Collaboratory in this 1970s era building is exactly the type of reimagining that we love to be a part of. We cannot wait to get started!
