Queen of Peace

Gainesville, Florida

The Problem:

Provide a new 9,000 sf building to expand Queen of Peace’s classroom space as well as providing a new facility for special events.

Our Solution:

Being familiar with the contractor and owner from previous work on the Administration Building on site, CSEI was able to hit the ground running on the design and efficiently deliver the MEP design for the contractor to proceed with permitting and bidding as quickly as possible so that the final costs could be established. Working with our architectural partner, Tekton Architecture, CSEI was able to suggest energy efficiency upgrades and options while balancing aesthetic and functional goals of the owner and other stakeholders.

The CSEI DIfference:

Relationships are the heart of everything we are able to do and consistently improves both the efficiency of our work and the end value for the owner in the process. This project exemplifies how past relationships with project partners and the trust and collaboration they provide and creates a better project for everyone’s end client. We firmly believe that regardless of contractual relationship on a given project, all parties are working toward the same goal and are consistently fortunate to work with excellent contractors, architects, and other engineers that share this approach, making the work we do more enjoyable and delivering in the best results for the client.
